This high-performance 400G QSFP-DD (Quad Small Form Factor Pluggable Double-Density) optical transceiver is designed for 2km optical communication links over single-mode fiber (SMF).

Functional Overview:

  • Transmit Direction: Converts 8 input channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical data into 4 CWDM optical signals. These are then multiplexed into a single optical fiber for 400G transmission.

  • Receive Direction: De-multiplexes a 400G optical input from the fiber into 4 CWDM optical signals, then converts them back into 8 output channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical data.

Design & Compliance:
The module features a duplex LC optical interface and a 76-pin electrical interface, ensuring seamless integration. Its design adheres to the QSFP-DD MSA standard for form factor, connections, and digital diagnostic monitoring. Engineered for reliability in demanding environments, it is built to withstand temperature variations, humidity, and EMI interference.
