SZVAN Showcases 400G Portfolio and Previews 800G at OFC 2023, San Diego
March 5–9, 2023 | San Diego Convention Center, California, USA
SZVAN Electronics made a powerful impression at the 48th Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC 2023), held at the San Diego Convention Center from March 5 to 9. As the world's premier event for optical networking, OFC drew over 15,000 attendees and 700 exhibitors from across the globe.
At the SZVAN booth, visitors explored the company's complete 1G-to-400G compatible transceiver portfolio, with live demonstrations of 100G QSFP28 and 400G QSFP-DD modules interoperating with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista switches. The highlight was a technology preview of SZVAN's upcoming 800G QSFP-DD800 module, currently in the engineering sample stage, which attracted significant interest from hyperscale data center operators.
"We see OFC as the most important global stage for optical innovation," said the SZVAN sales director. "The industry is at an inflection point — 400G is ramping fast, and 800G is on the horizon. Our presence here signals SZVAN's commitment to being at the forefront of both transitions."
SZVAN also presented its high-speed AOC and DAC cable assemblies, which drew inquiries from network architects seeking cost-effective rack-to-rack and row-to-row interconnects. The company's 25G SFP28 modules for 5G front-haul applications resonated strongly with telecom operators from Asia and the Middle East.
Throughout the week, the SZVAN team held over 40 one-on-one meetings with distributors, OEM partners, and end customers, laying the groundwork for new partnerships in North America and Europe.
